Well, my instincts were correct. This afternoon Reid rolled over for the first time! Enjoy the video!

Day 92-{3 month letter)

Dear Reid,

Today you are 3 months old. Your greatest accomplishment this month was learning how to laugh. Daddy and I can’t get enough of that sound. The funny part is the only way we can get you to laugh really hard, is to hold you upside down and wiggle you. You only giggle when we tickle your feet or thighs. Speaking of thighs, I think you have gained some more weight since last month just by looking at your legs! It’s amazing how grown up you are getting. I know I have said that every month so far, but it really is quite amazing. You are so precious! You also learned how to prop yourself up on your arms when you are laying on your belly. You look so proud every time you do that and I have a feeling that you are going to learn to roll over very soon.

You love to play now and have learned how to bring a toy to exactly where you want it to be. The other day you were playing on your activity mat and laughed at what you saw in the mirror above your head, which of course was you. I was cooking and it was so fun to hear you from the other room laughing without being provoked by anyone. 

You are still very relaxed and you are starting to snuggle in when you want to be held. It is so cool to see you hold onto Daddy's shirt and nuzzle into his chest....you do the same thing with Mormor too. 

Lately you really want to explore your surroundings and how everything feels. You will often reach to touch our faces, which makes me smile. You are such a sweet little man. When we go on walks you are constantly moving your head to see everything that is passing by (unless you are sleepy), and have become more "talkative" about what you see. It is so fun to see you want to learn and Daddy and I can’t wait to teach you all about anything that you want to know.

Today we were reading " I need my monster". I am so glad we bought this book.

You are exploring new textures and objects. Today you really loved to stare at the animals on your play mat...and me. :)

It was chilly out today, so you got to wear fleece and be all cozy. You love Sophie and now regularly chew her and make noises at her.

Today Uncle Bobby got married and you got to see Uncle Rick, Mimi and Papa.

Day 77-{11 weeks old}

Day 76-Shoot

Well, I missed another day. I didn't take a picture of you today. Oh well, 2 days out of 76 isn't too bad. :) Well I'll just say what we did today instead. We went to MOM'S group and it was really nice to see all of the ladies, but you missed your nap because we were all so loud. We went shopping with Mormor to find a suit for you and something for me to wear to Bobby & Brenda's wedding. We found a suit, but nothing for me. You ate in the car outside of Macy's and then we went back home. You missed your afternoon nap also...so you slept for 11 hours!! I fed you at the Martelle's house during our Friday night meeting around 8:30 and you fell asleep around 9 and slept until 8am!! Wow! You are an awesome baby Reid!! Daddy and I love you a lot!

Today Mommy is sick, so we've been sitting and snuggling a lot today.

Even though this is a bit out of focus, I love it because it's of us.

You came with Mommy and Mormor when we went grocery shopping. It was sunny out so I decided to let you wear my sunglasses. You really didn't seem to mind....you are TOO cute Reid!

Day 72

Well, check another milestone off of your development chart...you have started to use your hands and eyes in coordination. You are starting to get the hang of playing with toys. Mormor and Papa G were over for dinner when we took this picture and we all enjoyed watching you learn something new instead of playing a game. (which we did do eventually)

Day 68-Shots

Today you had your 2 month check up. You are growing well, you now weigh 13lbs 15oz and are 23.5" long. The doctor said that physically you are acting like a 4 month old and that he wouldn't be surprised if you rolled over soon. You did really well and smiled at the doctor and the med student. Then the nurse came back in to give you shots. You were starting to fall asleep, so she gave you the oral vaccination first. She says it tastes bad, but you didn't seem to mind. Then came the shots....the first one startled you, the second ticked you off and the third made you VERY angry. You had huge tears and turned bright red, but it didn't take you long to calm down once Mommy cuddled you. What a good baby. You seem to not be in pain right now. Hopefully you stay happy and don't get a fever...
