You have started making a really funny face this past week. You scrunch up your nose and furrow your brows. It’s meaning ranges from please pick me up, I want to look out of the window, I’m bored, I really want that food, please feed me NOW, I love you and I am excited to see you, I want you to hold me, I’m excited or I’m melting down and need a nap or aren’t I cute?? It’s the funniest thing ever and seems to be your expression of choice lately. :)

{Embrace the camera}-January 27th

On Friday January 21st, My Grampy went home to be with Jesus. The last words he spoke to the nurse who was holding his hand were, "I'm ready to go home." Grampy served and loved the people whom God placed in his life and leaves a legacy of faith to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I am going to miss him dearly and I wish (selfishly) that he could stay here longer so Reid would know him and learn from him just as I did.

Grampy always had an answer for any question I would ask him. I remember when I was younger asking about latitude and longitude, little did I know, that 2 hours later I would FULLY understand the concept. It's funny that somehow his gift of long-windedness never bored me. Follow the link if you would like to read his obituary.

Most mornings you can find Reid hanging out near the piano either trying to kiss his reflection, eat the pedals (eeew) or crawl through the gaps on the side of the piano.

So at least this week I look awake, but I think I overcompensated a bit! :) I think this face came from trying to get a decent looking picture of my baby bump....I'm feeling ok and I'm still taking zofran for the nausea. I felt the first movements this week, it's so neat to think that there is a little person in there....

You really like chewing on Mormor's bracelet and enjoyed chilling out with her today. I was so excited that this shirt finally fits you since Daddy really likes airplanes. We had a great day relaxing with Mormor and Papa G, playing games, going to Whole foods and eating a REALLY good dinner together. It was a good Sabbath day.

This morning at Moms group you and Lizzy kept kissing each other. You two were so funny to watch.

After Moms group we had a playdate with Kristel and Sam. We had lots of fun talking about babies and you and Sam liked "playing" together. We couldn't get a picture of both of you smiling...so here is the one of Sam smiling...

Day 201

Yesterday we received over 15" of snow. So tis morning I bundled you up and sat you in the snow. At first you just sort of sat there, but after a few minutes you started flapping your arms and loved when  I dropped the snow in front of you. I foresee more trips outside now that you know about the snow. :) Just look at your face!!
